A baker I am not.
I'm not so much of a grammarian either I guess.
I can following directions fairly well. I make cookies from scratch since it's not that hard and they don't have all the chemicals that those open and bake cookies have.
Don't worry. I don't judge. I just figure I'll get my chemicals from a diet soda and eat real cookies.
Quite a rationale, eh?
But anyway, that's all I make. Pies? Cakes? Please. Betty Crocker is my friend. So the thought of having to do fundraisers or God forbid, bake sales makes me shiver.
And really, I'm not sure you can even bring in baked goods anymore. What a world?!
Anyway, I discovered iBakesale via Parent Bloggers and I think it's a fantastic concept, particularly for moms like me who a) Can't bake b) Don't like to bake c) Hate baking and d) Like to give back without having to bake.
Basically, you join (for free), pick charities OR enter your own local groups (church groups, non profits, private schools, little leagues), shop through their site at online places you already probably shop at, and earn money back.
I've even created a shoe fund (I'm not kidding). But I'm also trying to give money back as well as are a bunch of other bloggers.
So, I've started a little group to help raise money for the American Cancer Society -- specifically the Atlanta Chapter. If you want to join my group, fantastic. I will like you more than I already do.
Click here, join the site (free), and then find that group. OR add your own charity, group, etc. YOU NAME IT.
You have to love shopping for charity. And no baking.

If iBake can find me an odie o ben say tops cake, I'm sooo there!
Will check this place out after I get back home!

I was surprised to discover that my little town didn't have a Cancer Society charity listed. I may have to list one!

Your post was so funny. iBakeSale was initially created by talking with moms like you who asked for an easier way to raise money for different causes. Nobody likes doing bakesales anymore. I guess it's way too much pressure to make something really good... :)
Your choice of charity is great as well. Cancer is such a worthy cause and many people choose to support local chapters of the Cancer Society. I love how you created a shoe fund. That's exactly what we want to see. Have fun with it and do good at the same time. Thanks again for signing up.

Some time ago, I really needed to buy a building for my corporation but I didn't have enough money and could not order something. Thank goodness my friend proposed to try to take the loans at creditors. Thus, I acted that and used to be happy with my car loan.
